CA and UoN Undertake Preliminary Review of Findings of the National Survey on Child Online Protection and Safety in Kenya

The Communications Authority of Kenya (CA) and the University of Nairobi (UoN) held a session to review preliminary findings of the National Survey on Child Online Protection ahead of validation.

The session focused on the structure of the final report, key thematic areas, and effective ways of presenting and disseminating the findings to stakeholders.

The survey, undertaken in collaboration between CA and UoN's Institute for Development Studies (IDS), shall enable the Authority obtain empirical data to facilitate the development of appropriate regulatory interventions.

Today's engagement marks a significant step toward finalising the report, ensuring that its findings are credible, well-structured, and ready to inform stakeholder engagement on child online protection in Kenya.
